EDR-G903, güçlü endüstriyel bir VPN server ve Firewall/NAT all-in-one secure router olan yüksek performanslı bir cihazdır. Kritik uzaktan kontrol veya izleme ağlarındaki Ethernet tabanlı güvenlik uygulamaları için tasarlanmıştır ve pompa istasyonları, DCS, petrol kuyularındaki PLC sistemleri ve su arıtma sistemleri gibi kritik Siber varlıkların korunması için "Electronic Security Perimeter" sağlar.

EDR-G903 Serisi aşağıdaki siber güvenlik özelliklerini içerir:

Virtual Private Network (VPN): VPN'ler, kullanıcılara özel bir ağa halka açık İnternet'ten erişirken güvenli iletişim bağlantıları sağlamak için tasarlanmıştır. IP paketlerinin tümünün şifrelenmesi ve kimlik doğrulaması için IPsec (IP Güvenliği) sunucu veya istemci modunu kullanır.

Firewall: Farklı güvenlik bölgeleri arasındaki ağ trafiğini kontrol eder.Network Address Translation (NAT), iç LAN'ı dışarıdaki ana bilgisayarların yetkisiz etkinliklerinden korur.

EDR-G903'ün "Quick Automation Profile" işlevi, EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, FOUNDATION Fieldbus, Modbus TCP ve PROFINET gibi en yaygın fieldbus otomasyonu protokollerini destekler. Kullanıcılar, tek bir tıklama ile kullanıcı dostu bir web arayüzünden güvenli bir "Ethernet Fieldbus network" ağı oluşturabilirler.
